Musco makes a new commitment to European Hockey for a further four years
04 Feb 2010 08:29

The European Hockey Federation (EHF) is delighted to announce Musco Lighting will continue its partnership with the EHF for a further four years.

Musco Lighting has developed its lighting system – Light structure green, an innovative and comprehensive system with emphasis on key deal breaking initiatives:

Budget: - 50% savings in operating costs
Environment - 50% reduction in offsite spill light
Unequalled performance - 30 years of listening to our customer's needs

Responsible lighting is the focus of Musco’s product development. Most of the technological advancements are a direct result of the concerns and needs expressed by customers and design professionals.

Joe Crookham, President and CEO Musco said, 'The Musco team is proud to be a partner with the European Hockey Federation. We're particularly pleased to help the EHF develop sport and recreation activities for youth in developing countries in Europe.”

Martin Gotheridge, President of the EHF said, “We believe in hockey, and today we are delighted to announce that in spite of the difficult economic times, our loyal partner, Musco Lighting also believes in hockey.

Musco Lighting is a family owned company and its ethos, based on 30 years in the business is to provide the very best product, taking into consideration that budget and environmental impact are the real deal breakers for consumers. For the EHF this ethos of being the best is core to our work in hockey and the service that we provide to our members.

This partnership will not only assist the EHF with striving to achieve this goal but has the added dimension of a set of Musco Lighting lights being awarded to one Federation per year for the duration of the 4 year deal.

We have agreed that two sets of lights will be awarded to established hockey countries that support the EHF in hosting events on our behalf and two sets will be used for developing countries, to ensure that players are developing under the best possible conditions.

I would like to personally thank Joe Crookham, President and CEO, Jeff Rogers, President, Musco World and especially to Jerry Brown, European Sales Manager and his staff in Bolton for all their continuing support. We look forward, with renewed enthusiasm, to ensuring that this partnership continues to develop hockey in Europe and provides the best conditions for our athletes.”
