  • Management of the fulfilment of Irish hockey sponsors and partners
  • Co-ordination of onsite event management at key Irish hockey events, including VIP management and hospitality, advertising and sponsor management and event-based marketing and entertainment ventures
  • Development and maintenance of content on IHA web site, www.hockey.ie
  • Development of IHA’s national contact database system
  • Development of key Irish hockey fundraising programmes, including Friends of Hockey and the Athlete Support Programme.

To be successful, you will have a passion for sport and a burning desire to see it succeed! You will have energy, enthusiasm and a strong ability to work independently with limited resources. You will have well developed technical marketing skills and a proven track record in developing and delivering winning marketing programmes in a services industry environment.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • A marketing degree or higher
  • Well developed ‘hands-on’ marketing management skills, including marketing analysis, direct marketing, event marketing and brand development
  • Experience in online marketing, including email and web-based
  • Event management skills, including the management of sponsors, media and VIPs
  • Experience in PR and media management, ideally within a sports environment
  • Experience in database development and CRM strategies
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • An ability to multi-task and innovate when needed
  • Strong organisation skills and an ability to meet deadlines

If you are looking for the opportunity to work in an exciting, dynamic environment with others who are as passionate about Irish sport as you are, we want to hear from you! An attractive compensation package awaits the successful candidate, plus the opportunity to make a genuine difference and help develop a sport that is briming with potential.
