Results over the weekend in the 12th round of the Spanish men’s top division have created a three-way tie at the top of the ladder, while in the women's competition, C.D. Terassa extended it's lead with an easy win.

Madrid’s Club de Campo remains at the top on goal difference after an exciting 1-1 draw with Atlétic de Terrassa.

The draw between the top two teams allowed Atlético San Sebastián to join them at the top of the table after edging Real Club de Polo 3-2. The loss dropped Real Club de Polo out of the playoff picture and into fifth sport.

Fourth position was taken by Club Egara, who moved into playoff calculations with a 5-0 thrashing of UCM2012.

In the women’s top division, C.D. Terrassa holds a five-point advantage at the top of the table after a 4-1 win over Club de Campo. C.D. Terassa’s nearest competitors, Real Club de Polo, kept second place with a struggling one-goal win over U.D. Taburiente.

Most surprise came from a 1-1 draw between Real Society and Ourense Bule Bule in San Sebastián. In other results, Junior F.C. kept in touch with the top four teams with a 4-0 win over bottom-placed SPV-51. Junior is in fifth position (14 pts) on goal difference behind U.D. Taburiente and Real Sociedad.
