Oltmans names Dutch men for European championship

Netherlands men’s coach Roelant Oltmans has announced an experienced Dutch team to compete at the men’s European Nations Cup in Leipzig.

With the Dutch chasing their first men’s European championship since 1987, the team contains 17 of the 18 players that finished fifth at the Rabo Trophy in Amsterdam last week. The squad boasts an average of 108 international matches per player and includes 300-game veterans Jeroen Delmee and Teun de Nooijer.

Netherlands have been drawn in Pool B alongside Spain, Poland and France in Leipzig. Pool A contains four-times defending Germany, England, Scotland and Belgium.
