The first meeting of the Executive Board of the European Hockey Federation for 2022 was held on 6 and 7 February in Brussels, Belgium.

The Competitions Committee under the Chair of Martin Gotheridge, assisted by Steve Catton EHF Competitions Manager held its annual review and the Committee chairs presented their reports to the Executive Board. Marijke Fleuren, Nations Committee, Carola Meyer, Appointments Committee, Jan Vymazal, Indoor Committee, Wiert Doyer, Club Committee together with Martyn Gallivan Secretary Nations Committee and Guido Braca Secretary Indoor Committee.
The Executive Board approved the venue for 2023 EuroHockey Indoor Nations Men’s Trophy:

EuroHockey Nations Championships Women & Men 2021:
Following offers to host from Deutscher Hockey-Bund, Koninklijke Belgische Hockey- Bond, Russian Hockey Federation and Irish Hockey Association the Executive Board have selected Deutscher Hockey-Bund as the “preferred bid”.
The venue will be announced after the Executive Board in June 2022.
Euro Hockey League:
The Board received a report from the EHLL Board Members Martin Gotheridge and Alistair Gray. Plans are well advanced for the KO16 round at Easter at Hamburg. Venue for the final in The Netherlands will be announced following the Easter weekend.
