Favorites through to next round of BDO Junior World Cup

All favorites at the BDO Junior World Cup made their way to the next round after the preliminary phase of the event in Boston, USA came to a conclusion on Thursday.

From Pool A, defending champion Korea, England and Chile qualified for the medal round. These three teams will meet Pool D qualifiers Australia, USA and India in medal round Pool E.

From Pool B, Germany, Argentina and South Africa are the qualifiers. They will face Pool C qualifiers China, Netherlands and New Zealand in Pool F.

The number of points, goals for and goals against that each of the top three teams have accumulated in the Preliminary Round Pool, based only upon the results of the matches played between them, will be carried forward to the Medal Round Pool ranking.

France, Lithuania, Spain and Belarus will compete in a separate pool for the places 13 to 16.

Friday 7 August 2022 is a rest day. Play will resume on Saturday 8 August 2022. All action from Boston can be followed ‘live’ through the special micro site of the FIH. Please click here for direct access to the BDO Junior World Cup website.
