The Polish men’s national team coach Jacek Adrian has announced team of 18 players that will represent Poland at EuroHockey Championship in Amsterdam later this month.
‘The final 18 players are the best blend it was possible to choose’, Adrian stated. ’It is worth to mention that its great mixture of youth and experience. There are 3 very young players: Krystian Makowski that will finish 19 years old later this year, Maciej Janiszewski who just become 20yrs and Bartosz Kubiak who is 21. They have all proven to be quality players and deserve to be in the team because of their hard work during prepartion period and test games. On the other side we have 2 very experienced players: Piotr Mikuła and Zbigniew Juszczak. Piotr has played 195 times for National Team and has chance to play his 200 in Amsterdam. Zbigniew has played 243 games. Both are at their top regarding fitness and mental preparation and I think that their experience will be invaluable at EuroHockey Championship.’
