The BDO Hockey World Cup is after the Football World Cup and the World Equestrian Games Germany’s next sporting highlight. The Warsteiner HockeyPark in Mönchengladbach is Europe's biggest and most modern hockey stadium and will host the Men's BDO Hockey World Cup 2006 from 6 to 17 September. The twelve best nations worldwide are competing for the World Cup 2006 and Germany is not only hosting the tournament but trying to defend its 2002 World Cup title. Covering the event extensively, Eurosport and Eurosport 2 will broadcast 27 out of 42 matches LIVE.
