On behalf of everyone at the FIH, I would like to wish the entire Hockey Family and all fans of our sport a wonderful 2022.
The year 2008 was an extremely successful year with the Olympic Games in Beijing as the Highlight. During this fantastic hockey tournament, we celebrated the 100th anniversary of Hockey at the Olympic Games.
Together with the Olympics, two excellent organized Champions Trophies and six spectacular Olympic Qualifiers made 2008 one of the best years ever in hockey.
For me, as the newly elected FIH President, 2022 will be an important year, as we will keep making the necessary steps and decisions to constantly move hockey forward.
