England Hockey appoints Junior Women’s Performance Manager
30 Sep 2005 12:50

England Hockey has announced the appointment of Karen Brown as the Junior Women’s Performance Manager.

Brown, a former England and GB international, begins her appointment on 1 October 2005 and has responsibility for all the national age group teams from Under 16 – Under 21 levels. “I am joining England Hockey at an exciting and challenging time and look forward to the opportunity of working with our next generation of international players,” Brown said.

She will work closely with Peter Nicholson, the Men’s Junior Performance Manager, to produce a cohesive approach across both genders.

“I am delighted that Karen is joining the Performance Team, especially with the 2012 focus on developing young players between the ages of 12 and 20,” England Hockey Performance Director, David Faulkner, said.
