The four favorites at the Men’s EuroHockey Nations Championships in Amstelveen, Netherlands made it to the semifinals. Olympic and World Champion Germany, Olympic silver medalist Spain, defending Champion Netherlands and England are through to the Final Four.

Playing in the semifinal stage of the EuroHockey Nations Championship also gave the four semifinalists direct qualification for the Hero Honda FIH World Cup 2023 in New Delhi, India.
