Hockey is happily played by people in diverse countries; whether big, small, developed or developing. For hockey to remain a global sport we need to help each other out by feeding its development world wide.
Within the framework of the Year of the Youth, the English Hockey Federation shared its 'Hockey Rules OK' programme, a rules introduction project for children and youngsters, which you can still download.
Similarly the Canadian Hockey Federation has made its Club Development Programme available.
Australia, England, Scotland, Wales, Canada, South Africa, Netherlands, Germany and Spain have contributed to the 'Knowledge Exchange' - check out the Resources section where all these resources are available.
Don't waste time re-inventing the wheel - there are already so many hockey resources around! Take a look at the section and order the books, manuals, models and videos of your choice at the respective National Hockey Association.
If you have development models or programmes which you would like to make available for the world, please send it to the FIH in Brussels, for the attention of FIH Development Manager Gabriëlle van Doorn.
