Match schedule BDO Champions Trophy confirmed

The FIH confirmed the match schedule of the 2007 BDO Hockey Champions Trophy women on Monday. The event will take place in Quilmes, Argentina from 13 until 21 January 2007 and will feature the six best women’s teams of the world: Netherlands, Australia, Argentina, Spain, Japan and Germany

World Champion Netherlands will open the event on Saturday 13 January 2007 with the match against Spain. Japan will meet Australia on the opening day, while host Argentina will face Germany

The re-match of the World Cup final between Netherlands and Australia is scheduled for Thursday 18 January.

The six teams will play a single round robin tournament with the first two ranked teams qualifying for the final on Sunday 21 January 2007.
