12 Aug 2007 01:38

Australia and China will play Monday’s final of the women’s ‘Good Luck Beijing’ tournament, the test event for the 2008 Olympic Games. In the last preliminary pool action, Australia defeated China 3-0. The Australian players took the initiative throughout the game and seized their opportunities on many occasions before clinching a win over the host team.

In other action at the Olympic Green Hockey Field, Argentina whitewashed South Africa 6-0. The Argentine team gave full play to their skills, particularly in the second half, to win the game by a wide margin.
