Following the success of the Chilean Hockey Federation negotiating for the leading television station in Chile to take direct telecasts of the WorldHockey Olympic Qualifier throughout the tournament, minor modifications to the times for matches on Day 2 of the event, Saturday 2 March 2008, have been made to accommodate Chilean television.

The amended times for the matches on Sunday, 2 March 2008 are as follows:

16:00 Great Britain – Russia
18:00 Mexico – Chile
20:00 Austria – India
