Win for Netherlands, draw for Australia at Samsung Champions Trophy

Netherlands climbed the ranking of the Samsung Champions Trophy in Sydney, Australia on day 3 of the most important women’s hockey tournament of the year.

The Olympic and World Champion defeated rival Germany 1-0 and is now the leader of the tournament with 7 points, one more than Argentina who didn’t play on the third day.

Home team Australia had a tough time against Olympic silver medalist China. The Hockeyroos finally drew with China (2-2).
