30 Sep 2022 09:42

The Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced the junior team management until the 2013 Junior World Cup. Olympian Khawaja Muhammad Junaid will be the Chief Coach, while Olympian Kamran Ashraf and Olympian Anjum Saeed will be the Assistant Coaches. Dr. Asad Abbas Shah and International Ajmal Khan will assist the team management.

Secretary Pakistan Hockey Federation Muhammad Asif Bajwa said that the training camp of Pakistan Junior Hockey Team will be held from 5th October at National Hockey Stadium Lahore. 78 players from recently held Junior Super Hockey League have been invited to take part in the camp. After the camp, the selected team will take part in the Under 18 Asia Cup being held from the 12th of November at Myanmar.

Asif Bajwa said that due to the delay to get the visas for France, the Pakistan senior team will now visit France from the 19th of October. The team will play two matches series against Poland in Poland on the 20th and 21st of October. The team will have a short training camp in France from the 22nd October and until the start of the WorldHockey World Cup Qualifier.
