Series of Olympic Qualifiers resumes in Chile 19 Feb 2008 09:51
After the men’s team of New Zealand booked its ticket to the 2008 Beijing Olympics by winning the WorldHockey Olympic Qualifier in Auckland some weeks ago, the next vacancy for Beijing is at stake during the second WorldHockey Olympic Qualifier men when six teams compete for one Olympic ticket in Santiago, Chile from 1 until 9 March.
The new facility at the Prince of Wales Country Club in the Chilean capital is the venue for this important event which will decide which team will be the 11th Olympic Games participant. Austria, Chile, Great Britain, India, Mexico and Russia are the six participants in Santiago.
Like for all FIH World Level Events, a special website has been created. During the event, features like live commentary, photo gallery, news articles and all other important information will be available on this site.
