Russia upsets Germany in EuroHockey Indoors

The men’s team of Russia was responsible for the biggest upset in the history of indoor hockey by defeating World Champion Germany in the final of the 2008 EuroHockey Indoor Nations Championship. It was the first ever defeat for Germany in a major event.
