Hockey on Stamps

© Hockey on Stamps / Dil Bahra

Dil Bahra recently presented his latest project, Hockey on Stamps, a website dedicated to stamps with hockey motives.

Born in Kenya and having emigrated to Great Britain, the retired police officer looks back on decades of involvement in the sport, as a player, coach, team manager, and umpire. Most recently, Dil has been involved mainly as a journalist and Honorary Secretary of the Hockey Writers Club.

During another research project, Dil first took an interest in hockey stamps in 2005, and has since built up an impressive collection, researching and networking with other collectors from around the world.

The fruits of his years of work are now displayed on the new website, as Dil explains, "to share the interest, to add stamps that are not in my collection and to inform others of the stamps that are available".
