INTRODUCTION:

These Guidelines deal with:

  • FIH Coaching Courses High Performance and Development

  • FIH Final Coaching Seminars / Courses High Performance and Development

  • Olympic Solidarity Coaching Courses

  • The characteristics and aims and organisation of the courses

  • Accreditation of the FIH Coaches in the three levels in each category of course

  • Appointment of Course Conductors from the list of certified FIH Coaches

Based on the need to establish consistency, these Guidelines have been developed over a number of years and have been revised by the Development and Coaching Committee so that they more closely meet the needs of the National Hockey Associations. It is hoped that the implementation of the Guidelines will ensure that FIH Coaching Courses and Olympic Solidarity Coaching Courses conducted on all continents, will meet the standards and procedures described in this document: and will therefore, be for the benefit of all organisations and people concerned and, for the best for hockey.
