'COURSE ORGANISATION'

CHECK LIST: HEAD CONDUCTOR & CONDUCTORS

CHECK LIST: HEAD CONDUCTOR

  • Responsible for all the technical issues of the program.

  • Liaison between other course Conductors and course Director.

CHECK LIST:

Preparation Phase:

1.

Confirm Appointment with Chairman FIH DCC by returning appointment sheet

 

2.

Acquire Course Details from DCC (other conductors' name, presentation topics etc.)

 

3.

Review FIH Guidelines on Course Organization and Coaches Accreditation Process

 

4.

Review the Documents 'Role of Head Conductor' & 'Role of Course Director'

 

5.

Review and understand Assessment criterion and procedures

 

6.

Review the list of course documents and information Materials from FIH office

 

7.

Contact Other Course Conductors

 

8.

Contact Course Director

 

9.

Discuss & finalize the course program with Coaching Manager (timetable etc.)

 

10.

Consult other Course Conductors & Course Director about the program.

 

11.

Allocate time slots & duration for different activities in the course. Should be done in consultation with other course conductors.

 

12.

Get required items list (equipment, training aids etc.) from other conductors and compile a single list of these items.

Send the 'Services/facilities/tools' requirement list to Course Director (at least 40 days in advance).

 

14.

Envisage local transportation requirements and send it to the Course

 


After arrival at Host country:

 

Note: Should arrive at least one day before the start of the Course

Meet local officials and Local coordinator.

Meet Other Course Conductor and discuss matters related to:

      1. Service/Facilities/Tools

      2. Time allocation for various activities

      3. Transportation

Inspect Venues, course facilities, training aids etc. with Course Director and Local coordinator.

Attend First Meeting prior to the course.

Assist in Registration process

 


During Course:

Must present in all the course sessions.

Insist on Time Management

Conduct daily short briefing with other Course Conductors

Report unavailability and/or malfunctioning of any facility/tool

Monitor and execute the participants assessment process

 


Post Course Tasks:

Should send the technical course report to FIH with in 30 days after the completion of the course with (if necessary) all the results of participants' assessments.
