2004 Marathon in Pakistan
In compliance with the instructions of FIH, The PHF organized “Global Youth Hokey Marathon” activities on 15^th & 16 May in a befitting manner. The details are as follows; 

Karachi
A training camp of school going girls hockey players was organized by the Sindh Women Hokey Association at DHA Ground wherein specialized coaching instruction were imparted to them by renowned Olympians Kashif Jawad and Ahmed Alam. Exhibition matches between the female schools of local area were organized, which were witnessed by the parents of the players as also hokey elite of the city. 
The Sindh Hockey Association organized special training camps of the boys/U-16 years ages at Hokey Club of Pakistan Stadium Karachi. Renowned Olympians including MR. Islahuddin,MR A Hanif Khan, MR Hassan Sardar, Mr. Sami Ullah Khan& Mr. Iftikhar Syed Imparted Coaching Instruction, practically. 

Lahore
The training camp at the female hockey players of school and college girls was organized of the age of group of U-19 at National Hockey Stadium Lahore. Matches were arranged against the visiting Kazakhstan Women hokey team touring Pakistan. A large number of players, enthusiasts and officials witnessed the matches. It was an excellent show, particularly witnessed by General Muhammad Asia Khan President PHF who kindly distributed gifts to the participants. His presence was of great encouragement. 
In order to generate interest in the younger school going age children and to groom nursery, a coaching programme was launched under the guidance of groom nursery, a coaching programme was launched under the guidance of FIH Coach Ghulam Ghous at National Stadium Lahore. Some 65 children participated in the programme that was imparted instructions on the basic skills of the game. It was highly encouraging and the response of the young players was tremendous. 

Sialkot
The Punjab hockey Association organized extensive math activity at Sialkot where the team of various Districts participated.
