Why a promotional DVD

Over the years the FIH has received many requests for a multi-media tool which can be used for promotion of our sport in all circles.
The FIH is very happy that it can now supply you with a DVD/V-CD which contains a range of products to help you in the promotion of hockey in your country.

Titled 'Hockey, a Sport for Everybody', the material has been produced to convince those who are important for you (ie national and local governments, NOC, potential sponsors, potential players, schools, clubs, parents, broadcasters) that hockey is a sport which is too exciting not to join or support! 

Content

On this DVD/V-CD you will find the following:

• promotional video, showing hockey as a 'sport for everybody';
• power point presentation (English, Spanish, Russian), explaining in detail what makes hockey a 'sport for everybody';
• speakers notes to the power point presentation (English, Spanish, Russian);
• promotional leaflet and poster (English, Spanish, Russian);
• Year of the Youth clip;
• hockey highlights – men’s and women’s hockey;
• hockey rules – indoor & outdoor.

Use

Depending on your target group you can use all or a selection of the above products. The promotional video is nice to start or finish a presentation with. You can use the PowerPoint presentation to explain that hockey is a sport for all needs, all ages, all places, all people and levels, all structures, all supporters and all personalities. This presentation can be adapted according to your hockey situation and your audience.

The added hockey highlights show how amazing hockey is at the highest level. The poster and leaflet are for you to hand out to clubs, schools, parents, players or potential players. The Year of the Youth clip can be played for a youth minded audience and the rules can be downloaded for people who want to know how to play the sport.  There are no limits – we have provided you with the range of tools and it is up to you what you select!
