Maartje Goderie is an exciting and highly talented midfielder who rose to stardom at the 2004 Champions Trophy where she helped the Dutch women's team to the gold medal.

She was voted FIH 'Young Player of the Year' the following year, won further Champions Trophy gold medals in 2005 and 2007 and was a member of the 2006 World Cup winning Dutch women's team in Madrid. Goderie also has a European Championship gold medal from Dublin in 2005.

She currently plays for the HC Den Bosch club in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.
