Awarded once every two years at the Congress upon recommendation of the DCC.

Euro 1’000 awarded to a National Association that has fulfilled the following criteria:

• New development initiatives
• Increase hockey activities
• Increase in participation in tournaments & events, local, national, continental & international
• Increase in number of qualified officials, including umpires, coaches and technical officials
• Participation in regional, continental and international seminars and activities
• Increase in number of active members, men and women, juniors and seniors
