Taekema back in Dutch national team
31 Jul 2007 10:07

Taeke Taekema will return to the national team of Netherlands with immediate effect. Penalty corner specialist, who recovered from his injury sooner than expected, had some training sessions with the Dutch Junior Team and is able to play the test matches against France on 2 and 4 August.

The return of Taekema solves most of the penalty corners the Dutch coach Roelant Oltmans had in the last couple of weeks. Besides Taekema, Roderick Weusthof and Robert van der Horst are the specialists of the Dutch formation.

With Taekema back in action, Oltmans took Bram Lomans out of his selection. Lomans came back in the national team after four years of absence to replace Taekema.
