Aymar’s Argentina top Samsung Champions Trophy leader board

The Argentine women’s team of five times WorldHockey Player of the Year Luciana Aymar is still going strong at the Samsung Women’s Champions Trophy in Sydney, Australia.

In day 2 action of the most important women’s hockey event of 2022, Argentina defeated host Australia 1-0 and is the only team that won its first two matches.

In other Sunday action, Netherlands defeated China 1-0 in the replay of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games Final. Germany was much stronger than England (3-1).
