Canadian Men’s National Team for South Africa series 18 Dec 2007 07:11
The next step in the preparation of the Canadian national men’s team for the 2008 Olympics will see Canada travel to South Africa from 8 until 23 January 2008 to play a 3-Nation Tournament in Durban against Great Britain and host South Africa.
Furthermore, Canada will also play a couple of international matches against Poland in Johannesburg. The tour gives the team an opportunity to compete against opponents that are ranked both above and below them in the world ranking.
The objectives of the tour for Canada are:

To train in warm weather conditions;

The refining of old and implementation of new core strategies

Athletes competing in a tournament environment.
