The 20th EHF General Assembly was held in Budapest, Hungary, on Saturday 13 October. 34 Federations were present.

Apologies were received from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Estonia, Georgia, Israel, Luxembourg, Moldova, and Slovenia.

The following members were elected:

• President: Leandro Negre (ESP)
• Hon. Treasurer: Sergio Melai (ITA)
• Ordinary Members: (Female) Carola Meyer (GER)
• Ordinary Members: (Male) Jorge Alcover (ESP), Leonardas Caikauskas (LTU)

The EHF Executive Board for the coming two years is as follows:

• Vice-Presidents: Claire Peeters-Monseu (BEL)
• Martin Gotheridge (ENG)
• Hon. General Secretary: R.David Balbirnie (IRL)
• Hon. Treasurer: Sergio Melai (ITA)
• Ordinary Members: Jorge Alcover (ESP), Leonardas Caikauskas (LTU), Marijke Fleuren van Walsem (NED), Alistair Gray (SCO), Hans-Peter Hansen (DEN), Carola Meyer (GER), Jan Vymazal (CZE).

FIH President Els van Breda Vriesman reported on the activities of the International Hockey Federation.

Dave Shanahan, International Sales Director together with Jerry Brown European Sales Manager represented Musco Lighting and presented to the Hungarian Hockey Federation a free set of lights as part of the EHF partnership agreement concerning Pitch Development projects.

Reports and presentations were received from the following committees: Competitions, Development and Umpires.

Awards:

Claire Peeters-Monseu (BEL), Martin Gotheridge (ENG), together with HRH Sultan Azlan Shah (MAL), President, The Asian Hockey Federation received the award of EHF “Member of Honour”.

21st General Assembly Venue: The 21st EHF General Assembly will be hosted by the Koninklijke Nederlandse Hockey Bond on Friday 21 August, 2022.
