Olympic Hockey Coaching Conference

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) is holding an Olympic Games Coaching Conference on 26 August in Athens, during the XVIII Olympic Games. This conference continues the series of worldwide conferences and courses the FIH holds every year to help develop hockey worldwide.

The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for coaches from all over the world to share knowledge and gain experience in an international environment. Top coaches and experts will host the sessions, including Horst Wein (GER), Tayyab Ikram (PAK) and coaches of the teams participating in the Games. This Olympic conference focusses the development of hockey and hockey coaching as obseved during the Athens Olympics and other top hockey events.

High level hockey coaches, national coaches and FIH Coaches who will already be in Athens are invited to participate. The FIH regrets it is unable to provide accommodation or accreditation for the Olympics. Full details are available in the coaching section of www.worldhockey.org. The deadline for application is 5 August 2004.
