Ireland selection for matches against England

The Irish national women’s team will be England over Easter, with matches scheduled in Dublin on Friday 10 and Sunday 12 April.

The following 16 players have been selected to play for Ireland against England: Lauren Barr, Bridget Cleland, Emma Clarke, Eimear Cregan, Lizzie Colvin, Roisin Flinn, Megan Frazer, Mary Goode, Louisa Healy, Lisa Jacob, Shirley McCay, Cathy McKean, Cliodhna Sargent, Emma Smyth, Emma Stewart, Nikki Symmons.

Commenting on his team selection National Coach Gene Muller said “A number of players are unavailable for selection: Ciara O’Brien; Niamh Small; Alex Speers; and Michelle Harvey.  This team sees the return from injury of Captain Eimear Cregan, and a first national team appearance for Railway Union’s Emma Smyth”.
