FIH releases ABN AMRO Men’s Champions Trophy schedule

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has released the match schedule for the ABN AMRO Hockey Champions Trophy, men 2009, to be played in Melbourne, Australia from 28 November-6 December 2009.

The six best men’s teams in the world will compete for the most important men’s hockey title in 2009. Olympic and World Champion Germany, Olympic silver medalist Spain, Olympic bronze medalist and host Australia, Netherlands, Korea and England are the six participants.

Germany will open the ABN AMRO Champions Trophy on Saturday 28 November when the Olympic gold medalist meets England. Host Australia will face Korea on the opening day. The final is scheduled for Sunday 6 December 2009.
