Pakistan starts training camp

The Pakistan National Seniors Hockey Camp will commence on 20 February 2008 at National Hockey Stadium Lahore until team’s departure to China in mid-March where Pakistan will play a series of five Test matches against Chinese National Team besides featuring in some side matches. The tour will take place from 13 until 23 March 2008.

Meanwhile, President Pakistan Hockey Federation Mir Zafarullah Jamali has approved a panel of coaches namely former Olympians Naveed Alam, Muhammad Shahbaz  Jr and former international goalkeeper Arshad Hussain who will assist Chief Coach former Olympian Khawaja Zakauddin in the build up of national team for international commitments.
